An app for monitoring employees’ working time (clocking in / out)
Card readers installed at entrances and exits are currently the king of the market. This helps to prevent unauthorised visits and serves to control employees’ working time. When entering and leaving, the person holds the card against the device, which reads the data, recording the hours of operation. Unfortunately, this method does not always protect against “clever” employees passing their cards to colleagues.

How it works:
- the employee downloads the Acoris DLA app from Google Play or the App Store to their smartphone;
- when you arrive at work, open the app and scan the special QR code (NFC tag) at the entrance;
- a record is sent to your accounting system that the First Name Last Name has arrived for work;
- when leaving, the employee performs the same action, but from inside, at the exit door;
- if the first name of the last name thought to go outside during the working day, scanning the QR code stops his working hours, when he comes back inside they continue.
What are the advantages:
- It is unlikely that a worker would think of leaving their phone with a colleague;
- all you need to do is print out sheets or stickers with a QR code for your company and hang or stick them at all entrances and exits.
How can the app be used in open spaces?
One of the most challenging tasks is to catch construction workers, road workers and other people working in open spaces where it is not possible to install card readers or hang QR codes.
We offer a very simple solution – GPS scanning of the workplace. “The Acoris DLA app includes a GPS system to help you track your employees’ arrival and departure.
How GPS works:
- the person responsible for the staff work enters the coordinates into the administrative environment, with a chosen tolerance (several hundred metres or 1 km, depending on the size of the work area);
- the employee downloads the Acoris DLA app from Google Play or the App Store to their smartphone;
- when you arrive at your workplace, your phone enters the specified area, and the data is automatically recorded and entered into the time and attendance system;
- when a worker leaves the area, a suspension of working hours is recorded.
This system is compatible with people’s privacy rights, as they are not tracked. It only records when it enters and leaves the coordinates of the workplace.
By changing the workplace zones periodically, you will give your employees the coordinates they need each time.
